How do I register with SARS Customs to be an Importer?

Depending on whether you are an individual or registered business in the Republic of South Africa. There are requirements to be met and relevant documents to be completed with a due South African Customs Revenue Authority procedure. What documents do I need as I am buying goods from overseas and want to import into RSA?

Basic documents are Commercial Invoice, Packing List and Bill of lading. Based on the nature of your goods, there may be additional documentation required.

What documents do I need as I sold some goods to a buyer from Overseas and need to Export these?

Basically, you will need a signed Purchase Order; Commercial Invoice; Packing List and Shipping Instructions with full details of Buyer and Seller. This is to start the process of exporting as the receiving country may have their unique set of requirements which have to be complied with in order for the goods etc. to enter their country.

Can you arrange the Forwarding of my goods from anywhere in the world?

Yes. We have the expertise and resources to arrange this from the factory floor to your premises by sea; air; and road.

Can you assist with the HS code / Tariff code for my goods that I am buying from overseas?

Yes, we can via our in-house consultancy services.
